Carol Ann Duke

Carol Ann Duke - Passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in Brampton, Ontario at the age of 87 years.

Mother of Melody (Sal) Mancini, Kevin (Miriam) Duke, Pamela (Wade) Noseworthy, Valerie (Salim ) Sangrar, and Cheryl (Nieram) Arieli. Grandmother of Nicole Kreplin, Madison (Tom) Corcoran, Tyler (Emma) Noseworthy, Melissa (Shawn) Noseworthy, Dani Arieli, Farrah Sangrar, and Talia Arieli. Great-grandmother of Miles Kreplin, Henry Kreplin, Abigail Corcoran, and Lily Corcoran.

Carol was predeceased by her husband Robert with whom she shared 50 years of marriage, by her parents John “Jack” and Florence, and by her brother Dennis Foley.

Carol will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

Family was truly everything to Carol, and having a large, close-knit family was one of her greatest joys. She loved a full house that was filled with conversation, laughter, and the happy chaos of people coming together. She cherished family get-togethers more than anything.

Carol was an avid traveller who especially enjoyed exploring the world with her friends and family. One of her favourite trips was visiting her daughter Cheryl in the U.K. Carol loved reading and, having a deep appreciation for history, was always eager to learn and discover more about the world.

A passionate boater, Carol shared many happy days on the water with her husband. She was also dedicated to teaching Power Squadron, generously sharing her knowledge and love of boating with others.

Carol was immensely proud of her grandchildren and spoke often of their accomplishments. Her love, encouragement, and pride were felt deeply by each of them. She leaves behind a legacy of strong family bonds and a deep appreciation for time spent together.

Carol will be remembered for her warmth, her love of learning and adventure, and above all, her unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
