Suddenly, on Sunday February 2, 2025 at her home in Georgetown, in her 61st year. Daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Carol was all that and more. Predeceased by her husband David Bennett. Beloved mother of Heidi (Tony) Zekl and Joshua (Bobbi-Jo) Bennett. Loved daughter of Pat Waskalik. Dear sister of John Smith (Stacey) and Michael Waskalik(Clare). Dear aunt of J’aimee, Ethan, Malachi, Lyrica, Riven, Willow and Jak. Loving grandmother of Austin, Ashlyn, Abagale and Vayda, Morgan (Robert), Brianna, Zachary. Great grandmother of Mila and Rye. Wonderful friend to Wanda Grant, Sue Moir, and Carrie Lee Jones.

Carol was a Business Administration graduate of Sheridan College and she loved to arrange any type of event and was amazing at it. Carol was known for her kindness, great sense of humour and competitive nature especially during a game of euchre and had a love for good music and spending time with close friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Saturday February 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Holy Cross Parish Hall. Memorial contributions to the Cancer Assistance of Halton Hills would be greatly appreciated.
