Carlos Da Silva

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Carlos daSilva, in his 93rd year from COVID complications, on February 26, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Maria Gloria daSilva and his two daughters: Gloria Rinaldi (Luca), Tina Carreiro (Nelson), his grandchildren: Jessica Rinaldi, Adam Rinaldi, Christopher Carreiro, Matthew Carreiro (Michelle) and his great-granddaughter, Juliana Carreiro.
His whole life was devoted to making a better life for his wife, his daughters, and his grandchildren. His infectious smile and witty sense of humour will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Viewing at Jones Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown, on Sunday March 14, 2021 from 2-5 pm. Please call the funeral home at 905-877-3631 between 9 and 7 p.m. to reserve your visitation time. No drop-ins will be allowed. Carlos will be laid to rest March 15, 2021 at Assumption Cemetery following a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Georgetown (Gathering Limits will be enforced) Donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada are greatly appreciated.
