Bruce David Pattison

Pattison, Bruce David passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2025, with Downton Abbey playing in the background.

Beloved husband of the late “Kal” Kathleen Allison Pattison. Father of Janet Kasper (Greg), “Doug” Douglas Pattison (Rosanne), and the late David Pattison. Grandfather of Katherine Kasper (Mark Phipps) of London, Kimberly Dabrowski (Rafal) of Mississauga, Kira Pattison (Ryan Wight) of Stoney Creek, Jenna Pattison (Spencer Troop), and Jaime Pattison. Great-grandfather of Maureen, Trey and Peyton. Bruce is survived by his brother Paul Pattison (Willie) of St. Catharines, and predeceased by his brother Don Pattison (Sally) of Toronto.

Bruce will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. He cared deeply about keeping his family close, organizing large annual gatherings that became treasured traditions.

After beginning his career in retail, Bruce rose to become Senior Vice President of the Shopping Center Division Bramalea Ltd. He embraced his retirement with enthusiasm and camaraderie, earning the nickname “The Colonel” as the leader of the local Georgetown chapter of “The Old Farts.” This close-knit group met regularly at a local coffeehouse and enjoyed activities and events such as the boat races—often in friendly competition with his brother Paul’s St. Catharines chapter. Active from 1990 to the early 2000s, many members of the Georgetown group remained lifelong friends.
