In Loving Memory of Bruce Lilley

February 28, 1942 – October 10, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce Lilley, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 10, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born in Northallerton, Yorkshire, England, Bruce married Jacky in 1967 and immigrated to Canada the same year with just $300 and two trunks of belongings. He began work at De Havilland Canada within days of arriving, later working in California at NASA in the Wind Tunnels before returning to Canada in 1980.

Beyond his remarkable career, Bruce dedicated over 35 years to youth ministry at Bramalea Baptist and Bramalea Alliance churches. Known for his warm smile, playful “dad joke” humour, and servant heart, he touched the lives of countless young people and families.

Bruce is remembered as a loving husband to Jacky, devoted father to Mark (Alison) and Rob (Jennifer) and a kind, faithful friend to many. His life reflected his faith, generosity, and love for people.

A service to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held at:
