Keough, Brendan Joseph (Joe)

September 12, 1950 – November 13, 2024

After a brief illness, Joe passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13th at the Georgetown Hospital. Born in Bell Island, Newfoundland, Joe lived in Georgetown and spent his professional career working at Stanley and CPI before retiring in 2011. An avid card player, Joe was a frequent visitor at the Hillsview Active Living Centre where he enjoyed his weekly euchre tournaments with friends. He was a well-known regular at the Georgetown Mall, where he could be found daily enjoying coffee, conversation, and laughs with his close friends.

Beloved only child of the late Mary Keough, and treasured cousin to Harry, Don, Kevin, and the late Bill (William) and Brendon McLean, Joe will be sadly missed by extended family and friends. Following cremation, burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, November 26th at 1:30pm. Immediately following the burial, a reception will be held at Jones Funeral Home from 2pm-4pm. 11582 Trafalgar Rd.
