Brenda Elaine Sheppard

Brenda Elaine Sheppard, 59, passed away on December 5th, 2025.

Brenda’s life was defined by kindness, resilience, and an unmistakable sense of humour that lit up every room. She had a remarkable way of lifting others up, leaving behind memories filled with love, laughter, and comfort. She will be remembered fondly by everyone whose lives she touched.

Brenda was born on July 12th, 1966. She is survived by her father Donald, his wife Cheryl, her beloved sister Gaylyn, her devoted husband Scott, and her four children—Tyler, Mackenzie, William, and Samuel. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Juliette and Chistophe, who brought so much light into her life. She is reunited in heaven with her mother Lorraine, her sister Beth, and her brother Scott.

Brenda and Scott built a beautiful life together in Georgetown, where they raised their four children. Brenda was always on the move. She was active, energetic, and a natural at yoga. Scott lovingly called it “yogalotes,” and Brenda sometimes practiced twice a day simply because it brought her so much joy. She loved music and filled the house with it. If the radio wasn’t on, she could be heard playing the piano or humming a tune of her own. Her infectious laughter, witty humour, and warmth made everyone who walked through the door feel welcomed, cared for, and uplifted.

Brenda was also deeply involved in her community. She was generous with her time and her heart, supporting her church, local nursing homes, and giving to charities overseas. Whether she was lending a hand close to home or helping those halfway around the world, Brenda always chose kindness.

Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, on Saturday December 13th, from 2 to 4 pm to celebrate Brenda's life.

The celebration of life will continue at 43 Edith Street after 4 pm.
