Bev Gallant

Gallant, Beverley Ethel “Bev”- Peacefully on Saturday November 11, 2023 in her 86th year with her beloved husband Bill of 62 years at her side. Loving mother of Steven (Mary) and Heather (Guy). Loving grandma to Camille, Rhys, Natalie and Emily. Predeceased by her parents, Percy (1997) and Dorthea (2002) Vesey and her sister Patricia (2022) Irving. Dear sister-in-law to Gail Irving, Richard (Heather) Gallant, Frances (Neil) Brydges and Bob (2017) (Gloria) Gallant. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Bev’s talents in sewing and many other creative endeavours were well known. From wedding dresses to home interiors, furniture restoration and upholstering, yearly Christmas projects, pottery and stained glass, her creations were exceptional and cherished by all who received them. There was nothing creative she could not do. She approached these projects, as with everything in life, with passion but in a practical and no-nonsense way. Bev enjoyed cooking and was always trying the latest recipe. She loved her rose garden and enjoyed travelling with Bill and their friends. Bev will be forever remembered by her family and friends as a loving, caring, dependable person and for the love that she had for her family, especially her grandkids. Friends will be received in the Trafalgar Room at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday December 3, 2023 from 3-5 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation or your favourite Arts foundation would be appreciated.
