Bertha Leitch

Leitch, Bertha – Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in her 98th year, at the Bennett Health Care Centre, Georgetown. Wife of the late Robert “Bob” Leitch (1997). Cherished mother of Wayne (Laura), and deeply loved grandmother of Ellery (Matthew) and Nadine (Adam), and great-grandmother to Morley. Sister of Martha Hart, and predeceased by her brothers: Emanuel, Otto, Rudolph “Rudy”, William, and Gustave “Gus”.

Bertha was known for her loving and generous spirit. She enjoyed hosting, travelling, and most of all, spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets. Her kindness leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories.

A private family service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In memory of Bertha, memorial contributions to your local humane society or Glaucoma Research Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
