Peacefully, on Saturday May 4th, 2013 at his home in Georgetown. Barry, in his 61st year, beloved husband of Joyce (nee McDonald). Father of Jason of Georgetown and Shannon Reed of Louisiana and step-father of Sean and his wife Tavia McDonald. Grandfather of Lauren and Jai. Dear brother of Terry and his wife Debbie, Walter and his wife Wanda and the late Gordon. Also, predeceased by his parents James and Dorothy Layton. Barry will also be sadly missed by his extended family, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Tuesday May 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday May 8th at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation to follow.
