SQUIZZATO, Barbara Ethel
(nee Cunningham)

April 8, 1942 - December 17, 2025

Barbara passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Brampton Civic Hospital, at the age of 83. Born in Liverpool England Barbara immigrated to Canada with her family in 1957. She was a loving and devoted mother of Stephen, Martin, and Alan (Evelyn). Cherished Nana of Julia and Eric. 

Dear sister of Carol Gourley (Jim). Predeceased by her former spouse, Tarcisio. Barbara will be missed by her nieces Lyn, Juli and Erin, as well as by her extended family in England and Italy. Mom found great comfort in her cats, especially Theo and loved tending to her many potted plants. A devoted fan of Yanni, she attended many of his concerts in Toronto and Hamilton over the years. Barbara will be remembered for her warmth and devotion to her family.

The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff at Holland Christian Homes for their compassionate and wonderful care of Barbara.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date.

In honour of Barbara, memorial donations may be made to The Upper Credit Humane Society, a charity she held close to her heart.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
