Barbara Elizabeth Capstick

Capstick, Barbara Elizabeth (nee Roberts) – Peacefully, in the presence of her family, on Friday January 12,2024 at the Bethell Hospice, Inglewood after a year long heroic battle against brain cancer. Barb, in her 74th year beloved companion of Kevin Ryan for 27 years. Loving mother of Jen (Roberto), Lisa (Craig), the late Paul Michael and step-mother of Sara (Paul). Loved grandma of Nikolas, Jaxson and Domenic. Dear sister of Robert (the late Betty), Donald (the late Bev), Sharon (Ernie), Bruce (the late Marielyn) Marlene (Jack) and the late Emily, Ronald and Wendy. Barb will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Barb enjoyed travelling and was a very out-going, caring and loving person. Barb will be forever remembered for the love that she had for her family especially her grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday January 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Internment Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Bethell Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
