Aurelio Viola

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Aurelio Viola, age 91, who died peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on July 29, 2024. Beloved husband to Corinna for 63 wonderful years. Aurelio was born in Cavedago, Italy to Donato and Maria Viola. He was a loving father to Maurizio and his late daughter in law Nicole, as well as a cherished grandfather to Damiano and Brianna who were his pride and joy. He will be deeply missed by his family. Aurelio was a hardworking man who, even at 91, couldn’t be slowed down. He spent 29 dedicated years with Ford Motor Company. Aurelio had deep love for his family and was so prideful of the life he created.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 3, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. To honour Aurelio’s memory, donations may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
