Attilio Ruggiero

Peacefully passed away, on Monday August 14, 2023 in Georgetown, Ontario in his 93 year. Predeceased by his wife Lina (1975) and daughter Lisa (2022). Loving father of Sabrina (Dave) and son in law Gaetano. Proud “Nonno” of Riccardo (Stephanie), Josh, Bellina (Steven) and Sonia (Quinton) and great grandchildren Luca, Mateo, Lorenzo and baby boy due to arrive later this year. Dear brother of Mario, Margherita , Lucia and predeceased by his sister Maria. Attilio will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Attilio was a passionate artist, he loved creating works of art that will be forever cherished by many that loved his work.

Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 6-8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 1 p.m.

Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Dad, I love you

You gave me life, shelter

And help whenever it was needed

Behind me you stood

With whatever I did.

Although I always didn’t use my head,

You were there to keep me in line.

But when you where proud

You’d always give me a smile,

You attended to me

If I was sick

wiped my tears if I was sad

showing me so many things

Like hope,

and to see things from a different point of

view

With all this

You have showed me how much

You care and all I can do.

Most of all,

I see now, how much you love me.

Without you to guide me

I wouldn’t be who I am today,

And for that,

I am so very grateful.
