It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Edwin Bischoff on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend.

At the centre of Tony’s life was his wife and best friend, Linda. He was a proud and devoted father/step-father to James Bischoff, Ashley Markle, Sarah Clews (Ryan), Brittany Raycraft (Corey Sheehan), Savannah Bischoff, and Isis Toornstra (Zachary). He loved each of his children fiercely and took great pride in the individuals they became. Nothing brought him greater joy than being “Grandpa.” He adored his grandchildren: Samantha, Zoe, Jack, Beynon, Dakota, and Sloane. Each of them held a special place in his heart.

He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Shaune, Bill (Sue), Rhona (Ron), and Edwina (John). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his loving parents Ann and Edwin and brother Ian.

He was a mentor to many, always generous with his time and ever-giving with his wisdom. Whether offering practical advice, steady reassurance, or hard-earned life lessons, Tony had a way of guiding others without judgment.

His legacy lives on in the family and friends he cherished above all else, in the wisdom he shared so freely, and in the countless lives he touched with his strength and compassion.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road Georgetown ON, on Thursday, February 19 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Acton Town Hall, 19 Willow Street N, Acton, on Saturday, February 21 from 1:00–4:00 p.m., where family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honour Tony’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Acton Food Share in Tony’s memory — a tribute that would honour his generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
