Cooke, Anne Christine – 

Peacefully, on Monday November 24, 2025 at Extendicare Halton Hills. Anne, in her 84th year, beloved wife of Stephen for 60 years. Loving mother of Daniel, Matthew (Kristyl) and Miles (Tracy). Loved grandma of Liam, Matthew, Emmie, Kieran and Chloe. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Leonard Cole and was a much loved daughter-in-law of Joan and Victor Cooke. Dear sister of Elizabeth Morgan and the late Susan Hallman. 

Anne will be remembered as a very kind, caring, thoughtful, considerate and loving person. She was well liked by everyone especially the many students that she taught over the years in England and, since 1981, in Newmarket and Alliston, Ontario, Canada. Anne will be forever remembered by her family for the love that she had for her family, and her passion for gardening, travelling, hiking and the outdoors. 

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Devereaux Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
