Andrew Jacob Steringa

Andrew Jacob Steringa passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 84, on October 28th ,

2022, surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Andy is survived by

his beloved wife of 56 years, Grace (nee Beintema). Cherished dad of the late Peter (2008),

John (Jen), Dan (Tracy), and Colleen (Blaine). World’s Best Opa of Matthew, Nolan, Ethan,

Aidan, Keira, Marissa, Colton, Lily, and Emma. He will also be missed by his siblings Pete,

John, Emily (Roger), and Jerry (Janet), and by his extended family and friends. He is

predeceased by his parents Pieter and Harmke, brother Jake, and sisters Mieke and Debbie.

Visitation will be held at the Jones’ Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 6pm-8pm.

Funeral service will be at the Georgetown Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday,

November 2, 2022 at 1pm. A private family burial will take place prior at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Georgetown CRC Missions Birthday Fund is greatly

appreciated.
