Alma Green

GREEN, Alma L. - passed away peacefully, at Bethell House Hospice, surrounded by her family, on August 6, 2014. Alma was the dear wife of the late Ron 'Poopsie' Green. Loving mother of Yvonne (Terry Stewart), Jacqueline Green, Kent (Shannon) Green, and Blair (Chris) Green. Devoted grandmother to Chad, Taylor, Kory, Kyle, Dylan, Alec and Alyssa. Dear sister of Anne Crockatt and aunt of Cameron and Craig. Alma will be forever remembered by her many beloved friends and of course, her best companion - her dog Luka. We wish to send a very special thank you to our family at Bethell House Hospice, to Dr. Lund and the Bayshore Team, Georgetown Hospital and Dr. Sarah Ferguson. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones and Son Funeral Homes and Cremation Centre (11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave.) Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
