Allan Bruce Stuttard
Allan Stuttard passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at the Georgetown Hospital Palliative Care Unit, surrounded by the love of his family, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.
Allan was the beloved husband of 53 years to Joyce (née Stansel), whose partnership and devotion were the foundation of a life well lived. He was a loving and proud father to Kelly Inch (David), Robyn (Scott Truman), and Bryan (Lori). His greatest joy was being “Grampie” to his seven cherished grandchildren: Callum, Lucas, and Ethan Inch; Brent and Makenna Truman; and Caitlyn and Brody Stuttard. Allan’s family was his pride and purpose, and nothing brought him more happiness than time spent together, especially celebrating the accomplishments and milestones of his grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his sister Bonnie Haigh Marmoreo; sister-in-law Brenda Snow; brother-in-law Bill Stansel; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were fortunate to know his warmth and steady presence.
Allan was predeceased by his parents, George (“Bud”) and Pearl Stuttard; his brother Clark; his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Chuck Marmoreo.
A longtime resident of Georgetown, Allan enjoyed his involvement in minor hockey, and participation in community initiatives through the local Jaycees, ie. The Crazy Boat Race. His love of the outdoors drew him to a career in land surveying. And in retirement, fishing became his hobby of choice.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Allan’s Life will be held in the Trafalgar Room - Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
The family would like to thank Cancer Assistance Halton Hills for their generous support over the past several years, and the Complex Care staff at Georgetown Hospital for the outstanding care Allan received in his final weeks.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Assistance Halton Hills or the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
