Alice Wilson

Alice Wilson _ Passed peacefully on Tuesday Dec 16, 2025, surrounded by her family and Love, at Creek way Village in Burlington Ontario at the age of 91. Born in England, she grew up during the wartime years, which shaped her lifelong resilience, thrift, and deep appreciation for home and family. She carried these values with her throughout her life.

Alice was predeceased by her daughters Janet Phin (née Wilson) and Alison Whitehead (née Wilson); her son-in-law Jay Phin; her former son-in-law Brian Whitehead; and her beloved grandson Connor Whitehead.She is survived by her son Stephen Wilson, daughter-in-law Veronica Linda Wilson and her grandchildren Daniel and Vanessa Wilson, and her former husband Roy Wilson.

She found great joy in knitting and baking, and her hands were rarely still. Family members were often the grateful recipients of hand-knitted gifts, while her pies and scones became a beloved staple at family gatherings. These were simple acts, done with great love.

The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff at Creek Way Village for the compassionate care they provided Alice, and for the dignity and respect with which she was treated.

In honour of Alice, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Upper Credit Humane Society.
