With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Alexandr "Sasa" on March 13, 2013 in Georgetown Hospital, surrounded in the love of his deeply devoted family. Born in Russia December 20, 1919, he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elza, who loved & cared for him tirelessly and his devoted son Juri (Pamela). "Opa" to his grandchildren, Tera Bristow (Michael), Chelsey, and Justin (Ashley) and great-granddaughters, Ella and Cameryn.
He truly loved his family, spending time in Trenton at his cottage and was an avid soccer player. He also coached the Latvian Daugavas Vanagu soccer team.

Friends will be received at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Monday, March 18th, 2013 from 1PM with service to follow at 2PM.
