ODORICO, Aldo Raymond

June 23, 1956 – August 1, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Aldo Raymond Odorico “Odee”, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, following a lengthy battle with COPD and Diabetes.

Born on June 23, 1956 at Oakville Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Virginia “Ginny” Odorico. Brother of Belinda Rice (Joe), father of Preston (Charlene) and grandfather to Alyssa, Kayla, Nathean and Tycen.

Aldo was adventurous and fun loving in his youth playing lacrosse and hockey and loved cars, trucks and motorcycles but his greatest joy was fishing at French River with family and friends.

Aldo worked in various construction trades and manufacturing jobs and finally in logistics at Maple Lodge Farms until his medical condition forced his retirement.

In the past 5-6 years Aldo enjoyed keeping up with current events and watching fishing and car shows due to mobility constraints.

Friend will be received at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905-877-3631) on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the COPD Foundation, Joseph Brant Hospital (Burlington) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
