Rae, Albert Glenville Carson
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Edgewater Senior Living (Georgetown). Carson was in his 97th year, husband of the late Norma Rae. Loving father of the late Glen & father-in-law of Marlene, Bruce, the late Kevin & father-in law of Nancy, Dennis, Darlene (Ivan).
Beloved grandfather of Debbie(Brent), Cyndi(Ralph), Angel, Jeremy, Brian, the late Kelly, Alissa, Brandon, John & David(Laura).
Beloved great grandfather of Brittany, Ruby, Rose, Alexus, Sean, Claire, Max & Lincoln.
Beloved great-great grandfather of Chelsea & Amy.
Carson's siblings, late Norma Bradshaw(late Ross), the late Shirley Brown (late Rev. Dr. Lloyd), the late Delton Rae (late Fern), Edna Jackson (late Donald), the late Betty Groff (late Stanley), the late Bob Rae (Eileen), Ormand Rae (late Alice), the late Arnold Rae (Marilyn), the late Mary Lou Holiday (late Gordon), Laverne Rae (Irene), the late Dorthy Ferguson (Eddie) & David (Ruth). Sister-in law Gwen Bradshaw. Predeceased by his parents Albert & Emma Rae (Green).
Carson is fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews.
Carson thoroughly enjoyed tinkering in small engine repairs (lawn mowers & snow blowers). Carson also enjoyed travelling & square dancing where they met new & old friends.
Carson will be forever remembered by his family for his big heart, kind, caring, genuine & as a strong loving person.
Special gratitude to the staff at Edgewater Senior Living who went above and beyond to make him feel at home. As a family we appreciated the care you gave him.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution to the Knox Presbyterian Church or the CAHH (Cancer Assistance Halton Hills) would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Details will be posted when a date has been set.
