It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Kiepura (nee Steffan) on Wednesday November 7, 2012. In her 70th year, with family by her side, Agnes entered peacefully into rest at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Roman Kiepura. Loving mother to Donna (Grant Hiller) and Allan. Forever cherished by her grandchildren Corey, Tenecia, Nicole and Tayler. Agnes is survived by her sisters Ester and Cecile. Lovingly remembered by Al and Pat Redman. Born the second youngest of 11 children in Rouyn, Quebec, Agnes and Roman started their lives together in Kirkland Lake, later moving to Oshawa before settling in Georgetown.

The family will receive friends at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905)877-3631 on Wednesday November 14th from 10 - 11 am. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11 am. Reception will follow in the Trafalgar Room. Interment of cremated remains will take place after reception.
