Adele Margaret Van Alphen

McCartney- Van Alphen, Adele (nee Bastedo) from Georgetown, Ontario, born August 31, 1936 in Port Carling, Ontario, passed peacefully Sept 29, 2020 with her daughter Cindy by her side. Predeceased by her first husband Denis McCartney (1993). They had four children together. Predeceased by Linda (2001) and Richard (2017). Kim Easterbrook (Ed) and Cindy Langlois (Les). Grandchildren Jamie, Nicole, Kristy, Eric and Deanne. Great grandchildren Ashlyn, Addison, Kaden, Logan, Owen, Hayley and June. Adele is predeceased by her second husband Tom Van Alphen (2013). Stepchildren Ellen (1997),Ed (2013) and grandson Joshua Warner (2003). Hank (Vicki), Lydia Warner (Pat), Tony, John and Cyndi (Chris). Eight step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren. Mom will be dearly missed by her many friends and relatives. Special thanks to Aunt Ellen for our visits with mom over the past 4 years, and everyone else who came to visit or sent your well wishes. I know it meant alot to mom to know you all cared. Thank you to the staff at Extendicare Halton Hills and Dr. Ming, for your continuous care of mom during her stay since Dec 2018. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid restrictions, a celebration of life will take place at a later date. In memory contributions to Parkinsons and the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
